Pimpri: BJP MLA from Chinchwad Assembly Laxman Jagtap has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Baner since last week. MLA Jagtap is slowly responding to the treatment and as his condition is improving, a smile appears on the faces of the activists.
Leaders of BJP and other parties at the Center and in the state came to the hospital and telephoned to inquire about MLA Jagtap’s condition. At the same time, various social organizations, circles, women and activists in the city went to the temples of gods and goddesses at various places and chanted Abhishek Pooja and Mahamrityunjaya Mantra and prayed for the health of MLA Jagtap.
Meanwhile, Union Minister, senior BJP leaders Nitin Gadkari, Raosaheb Danve, Union Health Minister Bharti Pawar, Ramdas Athavale talked to MLA Jagtap’s brother Shankar Jagtap over phone and inquired about his health. Besides, former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Cabinet Minister Vijay Vadettiwar, BJP State President Chandrakant Patil, Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Praveen Darekar, former Minister Girish Mahajan, former Minister Ram Shinde, Sanjay Bhegade, MLA Ashish Shelar, Rahul Kul, Bhimrao Tapkir, City level leaders from BJP and other parties in the city including Mahesh Landage, Madhuri Misal, Sunil Shelke, former mayor Murlidhar Mohol, Usha alias Mai Dhore visited the Jagtap brothers at the hospital. At this time Vijay Jagtap, Shankar Jagtap and also interacted with the doctors of the hospital and inquired about the health of MLA Jagtap.
