Ram Shinde and the political struggle

Pvt. Ram Shinde was born on January 1, 1969 in a poor farming family in Choundi. His father Shankarrao, a farm laborer, spent half his life working as a salkari gadi in another’s field. Meanwhile, in the 2002 election of Jamkhed Krishi Bazar Samiti, Pvt. Shinde’s candidature was rejected. However, Shinde did not withdraw from the election and contested from the weaker section of the market committee. But with just one vote, they had to face defeat. The same was seen in the 2002 Zilla Parishad-Panchayat Samiti elections. From the group close to Zilla Parishad, Pvt. Shinde’s candidature was confirmed. While he started the campaign in the Jawala group, some of the BJP in the Jawala group attacked Pvt. Strongly opposed Shinde’s candidature. Opposition was so strong that if Shinde was nominated, we would leave the BJP and join another party. Pvt. Shinde was left alone at that time and his candidature was canceled at that time. In the election of Choundi Gram Panchayat in 2005, Pvt. Shinde had to face defeat. In the year 2006, BJP appointed Pvt. True, Shinde was elected, but the official announcement of his election as taluka president was made six months later. In the year 2007, Pvt. Shinde and his wife Ashatai contested from the BJP near the Panchayat Samiti and were elected by a wide margin. His victory was huge for the BJP. While the BJP candidate from the group close to Zilla Parishad is behind from Arangaon constituency, Pvt. The BJP candidate was elected on the basis of the lead given to Shinde. In particular, the same candidate in the 2002 Zilla Parishad elections from the BJP Pvt. Shinde was opposed to the candidature. After being elected by the same candidate, he vehemently opposed the nomination of Prof. Shinde from BJP in the 2009 Assembly elections. But this time, nothing happened to them. Naturally, Shinde got assembly candidature from BJP. Those who opposed Ram Shinde’s candidature, however, left the BJP and acted as candidates from other parties.

After his victory in the 2009 assembly elections, Ram Shinde strengthened his grip on the constituency by carrying out development works despite being against the government. Meanwhile, Ahmednagar BJP district president Pvt. Shinde was selected. After that he worked as Maharashtra Pradesh BJP General Secretary. He was elected in 2014 by a wide margin. Initially, he was the Minister of State for Home, Marketing, Health and Tourism. Shinde passed.

Meanwhile, Ram Shinde had to face defeat from NCP’s Rohit Pawar in the 2019 Assembly elections. However, he did not break the cord with the people without getting exhausted.
