India ranks 135th out of 163 countries in World Peace Index

Funds are being spent to make up for the financial loss. Its impact is seen to be in line with various welfare schemes. If the fires of violence do not go out in the next few days, it could have serious consequences.
After Corona, the economic crunch of many big countries broke. It also caused a lot of damage. These countries have not been able to get out of this yet. In comparison, the Indian economy stood on its own two feet. Despite the health and economic consequences of the corona, the Indian economy is strong. But the second burning truth is annoying. Indian gross domestic product, which we call GDP. Six per cent of it was spent on violence. This is a big shocking thing. A developing country like India may have to pay a heavy price in the near future. Lack of education and employment is evident. Therefore, companies from international universities are eager to come to India. But the recurring violence in India could open up new opportunities. This needs to be considered. In the last few years, there have been violent protests in the country on a number of issues. Therefore, strict measures like curfew and internet ban have been taken. Apart from this, terrorist and Naxal attacks have also hit the country hard. These incidents have caused loss of life and property as well as direct and indirect damage to the country.

Iceland tops the world peace index, while Afghanistan is at the bottom

According to the 2022 report, Iceland is the quietest country in the world. New Zealand is second and Ireland is third. At the same time, Afghanistan tops the list of most troubled countries. Afghanistan also ranks last in the 163-nation index. It is numbered Yemen and Syria. All three countries are seriously facing terrorism and civil war.

An increase in the number of countries affected by violence

According to the Global Peace Index 2022, the number of countries experiencing violent internal conflict has risen from 29 to 38, but the number of people killed in internal conflict has dropped since 2017. South Asia is the second most turbulent region in the world after Africa. Violence has caused the most economic damage in Syria, South Sudan and the Central African Republic. Iceland, Kosovo and Switzerland are the least affected.
