Former Tata Sons director Cyrus Mistry was cremated at the state-of-the-art crematorium in Worli. He was cremated according to Hindu tradition and his family members were present. He belonged to the Parsi community. He died accidentally on September 4, 2022. The fatal accident took place on the bridge over the Surya river on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway. The accident took place around 3.30 pm and Cyrus Mistry died on the spot. 4 people were present in Cyrus Mistry’s car when it met with an accident; 2 of them died on the spot, while 2 were shifted to hospital. Jehangir Dinsha Pandole, Cyrus Mistry died on the spot, Anaita Pandole (female), Darius Pandole are seriously injured. The accident took place on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway near Charoti toll booth while coming from Gujarat to Mumbai, the information is coming out that the accident took place after hitting the divider.
Cyrus Mistry was a famous businessman and industrialist in the country, who belonged to a trillionaire family. He was the younger son of real estate businessman Palonji Shapoorji Mistry. Pallonji Shapoorji has four children in total. Cyrus Mistry has one elder brother and two sisters. The elder brother’s name is Shapoor and the sisters’ names are Laila and Allu. One of his sisters is married to Ratan Tata’s step brother Noel Tata. Thus he is also a relative of Ratan Tata.
