Mumbai:Eknath Shinde’s displeasure has caused an earthquake in the politics of Maharashtra. 12 to 15 MLAs including Eknath Shinde are not reachable and it is being said that they are in Gujarat. While Shiv Sena is trying to contact these MLAs, another big news is coming to the fore. Nine more Shiv Sena MLAs have left for Gujarat and are expected to reach Surat shortly, sources said.
As Eknath Shinde is notreachable, huge unrest has spread in Shiv Sena. It is being said that 13 MLAs including Shinde are ready to revolt. Eknath Shinde has gone to Gujarat with disgruntled MLAs from the party and is staying at Hotel Meridian under the protection of Gujarat government. The party is constantly trying to contact these missing MLAs. However, it has not been successful yet and another information is coming to light which is raising concerns of Shiv Sena. Nine more Shiv Sena MLAs are preparing for mutiny and are arriving at the hotel where Eknath Shinde is staying. It has come to light that this MLA is reaching the hotel in Surat by road.
According to information received so far, Palghar MLA Srinivas Vanaga, Alibag MLA Mahendra Dalvi, Bhiwandi Grameen MLA Shantaram More, Mumbai MLA Prakash Surve and Tanaji Sawant are missing.
Meeting called by Shiv Sena
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had convened a meeting of MLAs at Varsha Bungalow at 12.30 am after the polling for the Legislative Council elections was over. However, 13 Shiv Sena MLAs were absent for this meeting. These MLAs were frequently contacted by the party. After that, I have decided to call the MLAs again this morning. It will be important to see that the MLA will be present at this meeting. Meanwhile, as Eknath Shinde is not reachable, there is talk that internal strife in Shiv Sena has come to the fore.
