Newly elected chairman of the bank, Shankar Jagtap speaks out his sentiments.
Elected unopposed for the post of Chairman by the Board of Directors.
Pimpri : Ever since the inception of Shree Ganesh Sahakari Bank, this bank has been significant to the people at grass root level. Pledged and bound to public service, this bank was established by people’s leader Laxmanbhau Jagtap. Laxmanbhau always insisted on providing swift service to the customers. Shankar Jagtap, the newly elected chairman of Shree Ganesh Sahakari Bank expressed the feeling that through this inspiration, he and his team are determined to take the bank forward.
A meeting of the elected directors was held today (30th Nov) at the central office of Shree Ganesh Bank at Pimple Gurav. Shankar Jagtap was unanimously elected as the president, while Santosh Devkar was elected as the vice president during the same. Shankar Jagtap was speaking after this election.
In future, cooperative sector will play an important role in the development of the country. Hence Laxmanbhau Jagtap, Nanasaheb Shitole, Rajendra Rajapure, Dattatray alias Raosaheb Chaugule and Uddhav Patel took initiative and established the bank in the year 1998. People’s trust in Laxmanbhau and the bank’s prompt services, attractive loan schemes, deposit schemes keep the footfall of customers continuously increasing. Quinquennial election (year 2023-2028) of the bank was held few days ago. 17 directors were elected unopposed during the same. The President and Vice President have been elected from and by the Board of Directors. Nagnath Kenjeri, assistant Shashikant Shingare, Gajendra Savaikar worked as election officers in this election. Bank’s Chief Executive Officer Sanjay Bait, Branch Manager Ishwar Kate and other employees were present at the occasion.
People’s leader Laxmanbhau Jagtap started the practice of unopposed election of the bank. However, even after sad demise of MLA Jagtap, his brother Shankar Jagtap also won this five-yearly election unopposed and maintained the legacy.
