Unopposed election of entire board of directors in quinquennial elections
Pimpri : Shree Ganesh Sahakari Bank is bound to serve people, and through the bank, each class of the society, including the grass root level has been a lot. People’s leader Laxmanbhau Jagtap was the founder-director of the bank. His leadership and the bank’s support have helped a number of enterprises to establish and grow. Shankar Jagtap, the newly elected director of Shree Ganesh Co-operative Bank expressed the sentiments that the bank is committed to provide fast service to customers and we are determined to increase the business of the bank in the future.
Believing the principle of development through cooperative sector, people’s leader Laxmanbhau Jagtap established the bank in the year 1998 at Pimple Gurav. Prompt services, attractive loan schemes, deposit schemes offered by the bank, the bank is continuously witnessing increasing footfall of customers.
For the said election, Monday was the last day for withdrawing applications for the quinquennial election of Shree Ganesh Sahakari Bank Limited. All 17 candidates were elected unopposed (years 2023-2028). The chairman and other officials will be elected from this elected board of directors. Shankar Jagtap followed kept the legacy of Laxman Jagtap and continued the tradition of unopposed election. Account holders and members expressed a word of satisfaction about this. Nagnath Kenjeri worked as the election officer for the said election.

A tradition of unopposed election to the bank
The bank was established in the year 1998. People’s leader Laxmanbhau Jagtap started the practice of unopposed election of the bank. The previous election of the bank was held for the period 2015 to 2020. Sanjay Jagtap was the chairman of the bank during this period. The election was postponed due to the Corona period in the year 2020. Today, however, while MLA Jagtap is no longer alive, his brother Shankar Jagtap also conducted this quinquennial election unopposed, maintaining the legacy.
