Raju Shetty angry over farmers’ corpses hanging on trees

Hingoli : Raju Shetty, leader of Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana, responds to farmers’ question in Hingoli. The problems of the farmers have become so serious that their suicides are on the rise. The corpses of farmers are hanging on the trees in the fields. We have a clear role to play in deciding whether to lower the horn first and then whether to lower the horn or not, “said Raju Shetty.

Farmers should get guaranteed prices for their crops, prices of chemical fertilizers have gone up, diesel prices have gone up, cooking gas has become more expensive, schools and colleges have been closed during the Corona period and education of rural children has been disrupted. Farmers are suffering due to heavy regulation. Deepa is not repaired for two months. As a result, crops are being harvested despite water. These are our basic questions. Instead of discussing these issues, good issues are being discussed in Maharashtra at present. This has caused great uneasiness in the minds of the people of Maharashtra. There is outrage and dissatisfaction, so the roar of Baliraja needs to come out, said Raju Shetty.

In order to get guaranteed prices for agricultural crops, the central government should immediately enact guaranteed prices, provide electricity to agriculture for ten hours a day, immediately reverse the decision of FRP and give one lump sum FRP, immediately repeal the existing load shedding for agriculture, stop government looting policy, withdraw chemical fertilizer prices. Demands were made by Raju Shetty. That is why we started a roar yatra to raise the fight of Baliraja, said Shetty.

Do something that will bring justice to the farmers. Raju Shetty also accused the government of committing a heinous sin when the prices of chemical fertilizers skyrocketed. He also expressed the view that no one was ready to speak on the issue of farmers. Raju Shetty also criticized the Center and the state government, saying that first the farmers’ suicides and the problems of the farmers should be solved, then the trumpets should be lowered. The Baliraja Hunkar Yatra has started from Devrashtra, the birthplace of the late Yashwantrao Chavan, a sculptor from Maharashtra. Raju Shetty informed that through this yatra, awareness will be created through the meetings and gatherings of farmers in all corners of Maharashtra, namely Western Maharashtra, North Maharashtra, Konkan, Vidarbha, Marathwada and East Vidarbha.
