Udaipur: The whole country was stunned by the incident that took place in Udaipur, Rajasthan on Tuesday afternoon. Taylor Kanhaiyalal was strangled to death by fanatics for making a wrong post in support of Nupur Sharma who made offensive remarks about Prophet Mohammad. Not only that, but the most shocking thing is that the accused, who broke into the shop under the pretext of sewing clothes, captured the whole incident on camera and even threatened to kill Prime Minister Modi. Innocent boy accidentally posted in support of Nupur Sharma
The whole controversy started with the mutiny of Nupur Sharma. A post in support of Nupur Sharma was forwarded on WhatsApp from Kanhaiyalal’s mobile. Kanhaiya had claimed that his 8-year-old son had mistakenly posted this post. Since then, Kanhaiya has been receiving threats.
Police arrested Kanhaiyalal on June 10.
According to police, some people who were hurt by Kanhaiyalal’s post lodged a complaint with the police in Udaipur. Police registered a case against Kanhaiyalal on June 10 and arrested him on the same day. However, Kanhaiya was granted bail after appearing in court.
Kanhaiya had asked for security
After Kanhaiyalal was released on bail, he started receiving constant threats. The extremists had threatened to kill him by phone and SMS. Therefore, on June 15, Kanhaiya lodged a complaint with the police. He had sought police protection saying he was receiving threats. But the police did not take it seriously. Instead of arresting the perpetrators, the police compromised between the two and let them both understand.
Death threats on June 17, finally ended on June 28
Accused Mohammad Riaz made a video on June 17 announcing that anyone who spoke out against the Prophet Mohammad would be beheaded. In the end, the accused did as he was told. On the 11th day of the proclamation, Kanhaiyalal was brutally murdered by his accomplice Mohammad.
How was the assassination plot hatched?
At around 2.30 pm on Tuesday, the two came to their shop under the pretext of sewing clothes. Within a few seconds, they attacked Teli with weapons. He was beaten several times and had his throat slit. The video has also gone viral on social media. Accused Riaz and Mohammad committed the heinous murder in that manner, which shows that there is no fear of the police in the area.
