Akkalkuwa is a very remote area and even though there are no resources, Padvi has worked to inculcate Shiv Sena in this area. The election was contested against Padvi. Both times they had to lose. However, the state’s political veteran K. C. He had given a bitter fight to Padvi. In the 2019 Assembly elections, Amsha Padvi had polled 80,777 votes.

Meanwhile, Nandurbar district is considered a stronghold of the Congress. From the time of the late Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister, the Congress started its election campaign in the state from Nandurbar. Therefore, Shiv Sena has started efforts to set foot in this district. Political observers say that Shiv Sena has decided to send Padvi to the Legislative Council as a part of this.
