21-year-old girl tied up in house and attempted burglary; Suddenly, the mobile phone rang and the thief’s plot failed
Jalgaon: A shocking incident has come to light in which a 21-year-old girl was tied with a rope and tried to steal from a house in Kamla Nagar area of Dharangaon. A case has been registered against two unidentified persons at Dharangaon police station on Monday following a complaint lodged by Shubhangi Vishwas Sawant (age 21, resident of Chamgaon, Tal. Dharangaon, HMU, Kamal Nagar, Dharangaon).
According to the complaint lodged by the girl with the police, on June 5, 2022, at around 2 pm, while Shubhangi was alone in the house, two unidentified persons tied a cloth around her mouth and entered the house with the intention of stealing. At this time, the thieves hit Shubhangi on the head with a broom and a rag hit Shubhangi in the mouth. Also, Shubhangi’s hands were tied with a rope from the house. After that, they went to the bedroom and opened the wooden cupboard and searched and found nothing. When nothing was found in the house, the thieves started threatening Shubhangi.
Where is the money kept? Where is the gold jewelry? Where’s the locker key? Such questions were asked by the thieves to Shubhangi. Just then, the sound of a passing vehicle came and a siren-like sound was heard in Shubhangi’s mobile and both the thieves fled the house in panic. Meanwhile, a case has been registered against two unidentified persons at Dharangaon police station on this complaint. Umesh Patil is also conducting further investigations.
