Sanjay Raut’s victory did not go unnoticed

Mumbai: BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya has demanded the Election Commission to cancel the recent election of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut to the Rajya Sabha. Somaiya has been accused of rigging the polls. “I object to Raut’s victory and his election should be canceled,” Somaiya said. Elections were recently held for six Rajya Sabha seats. In this election, three candidates of BJP and three candidates of Mahavikas Aghadi won. It is noteworthy that for the first time, Sanjay Raut hit a Rajya Sabha victory from Shiv Sena. However, Somaiya has accused Sanjay Raut of winning the election by getting votes in a corrupt manner.

Somaiya said, “Today I lodged a complaint with the Election Commission against Sanjay Raut. How did Sanjay Raut know that Raut was threatening the MLAs, violating secrecy by saying where the MLAs have cast their votes, defaming the Election Commission, the question is that some 6 MLAs did not vote for the Front? That is, Raut violated the code of conduct during the counting of votes. Therefore, the Election Commission should take action against Raut ”. I am confident that the Election Commission will consider my complaint and take action against Sanjay Raut. On the one hand, the criminal process and on the other hand, the election process of Sanjay Raut should be canceled. In this regard, I will meet the members of the Election Commission tomorrow, said Somaiya.

Violation of code of conduct by Rauts, claims of everyone

Shiv Sena is angry over the defeat of Shiv Sena candidate Sanjay Pawar in Rajya Sabha elections. Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut blamed the defeat on independents and MLAs of smaller parties. These MLAs did not vote for Pawar and he was defeated. He claimed that he had a list of MLAs who did not vote for Pawar. As a result, BJP leaders have attacked Sanjay Raut. Raut should be charged. Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Pravin Darekar claimed that he had insulted the MLAs and thus violated the code of conduct. He was talking to reporters in Osmanabad.
