Prize distribution of Bhajan Competition organized on the occasion of Ajit Dada’s birthday in excitement

Pimpri: Sant tradition and Maharashtra have an unbreakable relationship. Saints play a big role in the formation of our society and Maharashtra. Rupalitai Chakankar, Chairperson of the State Commission for Women asserted that these saints gave humanity to the world through their actions.
Chakankar was speaking on the occasion of the prize distribution ceremony of a grand bhajan competition organized by former corporator Maya Barne in Thergaon on the occasion of the birthday of state opposition leader Ajitdada Pawar. NCP’s city president Ajit Gavane, woman president Kavitatai Alhat, social workers Abhay Mandre, former corporators Santosh Barne, Satish Barne, Sangeeta Kokane along with NCP office bearers, activists and citizens of the area were present in large numbers in the event.
Earlier, the Bhajan competition was inaugurated by Habhap Shekhar Maharaj Jambhulkar, Sukhlal Maharaj Buchde, Aba Gavane. As many as 90 Bhajani Mandals participated in this competition. Speaking about the proposal, Maya Barne said, Ajit Dada has made a big contribution in the development of the city. Pimpri-Chinchwad has become the fastest growing city at the national level due to the rapid development of the city while solving the pending problems of the city.
Speaking on the occasion, City President Ajit Gavane said, the architect of the development of Pimpri-Chinchwad city is Ajit Dada in real sense. Due to his decision, the city developed rapidly. Citizens from all corners of the country are living in our city. Due to Ajitdad’s leadership of the city and the development done by him, today the citizens of the city are getting high quality facilities. It is because of the visionary leadership of Ajit Dada that the name of Udyognagari, Kamgarnagari and developed city in true sense has been earned. Gavane also said that facilities like grade separator, flyover, quality roads, parks were created under the leadership of Dada, which added to the reputation of the city.
Prizes were distributed to the winning bhajani mandals by dignitaries. In this competition, the first rank was won by Shswa Abhang, Vishwa Abhang, Burunjwadi, Gyandev Bhajani Mandal, Bhosari, Mauli Bal Mandal, Chikhali. The second place was won by Swaranand Bhajani Mandal, Marunji, Santsang Bhajani Mandal, Rahatani, Sant Dnyaneshwar Bhajani Mandal, Rotewadi, Maval. Third No. Tajubai Bhajani Mandal, Taje, Maval, Shri. Won by Sant Savatamali Bhajani Mandal, Wakad, Swarpuja Bhajani Mandal, Thergaon.
Ramakrishna Hari Bhajani Mandal, Sangvi and Bhairavanath Bhajani Mandal, Charholi were felicitated for special singing. Also Ganesh Take’s Pakhwad player, Sujit Lohar’s tabla player and Hanuman Bhajani Mandal, Chakan were specially felicitated for playing harmonium.
