Aurangabad: MNS president Raj Thackeray held a grand meeting in Aurangabad today. Raj Thackeray started his speech by wishing the people of Maharashtra a happy Maharashtra Day and Labor Day. He further elaborated on the ideological tradition of Ambedkar-Kurundkar by telling a little history of ancient, medieval and modern India, a society which does not know its history or a society which forgets history, loses its geography (land). After the first ten to fifteen minutes of the meeting, Raj Thackeray began to touch on important issues. He gave evidence of Supriya Sule’s statement in Parliament while attacking Pawar’s theistic atheism. He further accused Pawar of harassing Babasaheb Purandare as he was only a Brahmin. Ipsit of the meeting is that he also took a strong stand on Bhongevada and insisted that we will not hear this voice from the 4th. In his nearly hour-long speech, he did not utter a word against Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. No words were uttered about BJP. Several organizations, including the Bhim Army, had warned to disrupt the meeting. Raj Thackeray did not speak on that either.
