Now in the Shiv Sena Supreme Court against the Shinde government, a demand to postpone the majority trial

Mumbai: The dramatic developments in the politics of the state do not seem to be stopping. A new government was formed in Maharashtra yesterday. The state got a new Chief Minister in the form of Eknath Shinde. However, now the Shiv Sena has run directly to the Supreme Court questioning the establishment of power. Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has called a special session on July 3 and 4 to ask the new government to prove its majority. However, the Shiv Sena has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking postponement of the majority test. This has created a strong possibility of a power struggle.

Shiv Sena has directly knocked on the door of the Supreme Court against the new Shinde government in the state. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking postponement of the majority test that the governor has asked the new government to prove. Shiv Sena spokesperson Sunil Prabhu has filed the petition. This oath is illegal. The petition also raises the question of the rules under which the establishment was invited. It is learned that Sunil Prabhu filed the petition after a discussion between advocates Kapil Sibal and Uddhav Thackeray.

Earlier, the governor had called a special session on June 30 and asked the Thackeray government to prove its majority in the legislature. Even then, the Shiv Sena had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking postponement of the majority test. At that time, a big argument had taken place in the court on June 29. However, the court had ruled that a majority trial would be held without giving any relief to the Thackeray government. Subsequently, on June 29, former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray resigned from his post.

After Uddhav Thackeray resigned from his post, Eknath Shinde came to Mumbai on June 30 and along with Devendra Fadnavis proposed to the Governor to come to power. Shortly afterwards, he was sworn in as Chief Minister in the evening. Shiv Sena is now saying that this swearing in ceremony is illegal. Now we have to see what is being heard in the court.
