On the occasion of his birthday, actor Pushkar Shrotri recently openly interviewed BJP MLA Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil. In which Shrotri, naming some leaders of the state, asked what advice he would give to these leaders. When asked about Ajit Pawar, Vikhe Patil said that Ajit Pawar was outspoken and firm. He also advised them to come back with BJP and form a government. After that, Vikhe Patil’s statement had a big impact in the politics of the state. A BJP spokesperson said that this was not an official role of the BJP but a statement made by Vikhe Patil following an open interview. However, when questioned by the media on the occasion of inauguration of a small scale industry center in Shirdi constituency, Vikhe Patil again praised Ajit Pawar and said that he was a capable leader.
Ajit Pawar and I have worked together for many years. I know the threat of their work. The state is deteriorating due to the Mahavikas Aghadi government and a BJP government is needed for a progressive Maharashtra. Vikhe Patil has said that the feeling that Ajit Pawar should come along for that was behind that statement in the program. Further, Vikhe Patil said that the result of the Legislative Council will not be different from that of Rajya Sabha. He has expressed confidence that all the five BJP candidates will also win the Legislative Council.
