According to the meteorological department, the weather is favorable for the next monsoon. Therefore, it is likely to rain in the next four days in South Konkan, South Maharashtra and some parts of Marathwada.

Rain has been recorded in Konkan including Goa in last 24 hours. Elsewhere in the state, the temperature dropped. If the monsoon conditions remain favorable, monsoon rains will begin on June 8 or 10 in the state.
