Pimpri: Pimpri MLA Anna Bansode took notice of hundreds of workers of Ganesha Mandals who were tired in ten days during Ganeshotsav on Sunday (Ya.11). He removed the labor abstinence of one and a half thousand such workers through lunch. This activity of his has become a topic of discussion among all Ganesh Mandals and activists in the city.
MLA Bansode has been helping Ganesh Mandals in various ways for the last 15 years. This year, he gave subscriptions to nearly 150 mandals in Pimpri during Ganeshotsav, and provided material support to some of them like sound system. This year also started the initiative of giving lunch to the workers of Ganesh Mandals who were tired after Ganesh immersion for ten days. He had booked an auspicious office for that. There, he did labor avoidance of one and a half thousand Ganpati Mandal workers in the constituency. During the Ganeshotsav period, he took care to entertain these workers who were engaged in the service of Ganesha devotees and entertained them with various appearances.
Talking about the concept behind this initiative, he said, Public Ganeshotsav Mandal is not just for those ten days. Activists who work loyally and selflessly in the board are the first to run to the help of various elements of the society when the time comes. However, society’s view of them is not entirely positive. Therefore, he said that this activity was started so that their hard work should be respected and gratitude expressed towards their hard work. The workers of many circles expressed their feeling that this will encourage them to celebrate Ganeshotsav. MLA Bansode was honored on this occasion on behalf of Samadhan Mitra Mandal, Janata Raja Mitra Mandal, Sai Vishwa Mitra Mandal, Jai Maharashtra Mitra Mandal and other circles. Youth leaders Siddharth Bansode, Lahu Torane, Mallesh Kadrapurkar, Subhash Borkar, Shashikant Ghule, Nilesh Pandharkar, Prasad Shetty, Audumbar Kalsait, Abhijit Waghere, Sanjay Ausarmal, Satish Landge etc. coordinated this activity.
