Jalgaon: The Mahavikas Aghadi government collapsed in the state yesterday and Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the Chief Minister. But after the instructions from the Center, Devendra Fadnavis also took oath as the Deputy Chief Minister. The fact that a big leader like Fadnavis will be working for the post of Deputy Chief Minister has really bothered many but senior NCP leader Eknath Khadse has criticized it.
After Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the Chief Minister, Eknath Khadse wished him well and castigated Devendra Fadnavis. Eknath Khadse has said that he never dreamed that Devendra Fadnavis would work as Deputy Chief Minister under his junior minister.
Congratulations to Eknath Shinde on becoming Chief Minister and Devendra Fadnavis on becoming Deputy Chief Minister. Khadse hopes that they will do a better job than the previous government and meet the expectations of the people of Maharashtra.
The drama that happened is unexpected
Devendra Fadnavis has high expectations to become the Chief Minister. However, it is not complete. Khadse also accused Fadnavis of accepting the post as per the circumstances. Meanwhile, when asked which party Eknath Shinde belonged to and which party he supported the BJP, Khadse said a decision on the matter was pending in the Supreme Court. Khadse also said that it will be clear only after the verdict of the Supreme Court which is the real Shiv Sena.
