MNS president Raj Thackeray has given an ultimatum to take down the horns on the mosques till May 4. However, the Hindu Mahasabha has now raised questions on this. President of Hindu Mahasabha Anand Dave raised the question of what to do with Hindu festivals if horns are sounded on mosques. He also said that this would be a great loss to Hindutva.
“The Hindu Mahasabha has opposed the practice of Namaz on the streets from day one. It is still against us today. But, if everything is closed on the entire road, then the question will arise as to what to do with the Aartis taking place in Ganpati mandavas, what to do with Navratri Dandiya, what to do with Dahihandi. The Hindu Mahasangha says that Hindus will get into more difficulties. Even in the time of Balasaheb, it was not possible to sound the horn, ”said Anand Dave.
