Massive Blood Donation Camp Receives Overwhelming Response at Moshi Hospital of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation
Pimpri Chinchwad | A grand blood donation camp was jointly organized by Moshi Hospital of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and the Jeevansheth Tapkir Mitra Parivar. The camp was inaugurated by MLA Mahesh Landge and Dr. Laxman Gophane, the Health and Medical Officer of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation.
Blood collected from the YCM Hospital Blood Bank under the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation is used to help needy patients. In support of this cause, the Municipal Corporation and the Jeevansheth Tapkir Mitra Parivar came together to organize this blood donation camp, which received an enthusiastic response from the public.
A total of 23 donors participated in the camp, and 69 units of blood were collected. This blood will prove beneficial for underprivileged and needy patients in society.
The successful organization of this initiative was supported by Dr. Shivaji Dhage, Head of Bhosari Hospital, Dr. Ramnath Bachhav, Medical Officer of Moshi Hospital, Dr. Ganesh Lande from the YCM Hospital Blood Bank, Social Service Superintendent Kishan Gaikwad, and social worker Uday Tapkir, among others.
