While Shiv Sena, BJP, Congress and NCP are vying for 10 seats in the Legislative Council, Sadabhau Khot has decided to jump into the fray. After Khot filed his nomination as an independent candidate, the BJP is likely to provide supplies for his victory. Meanwhile, when the BJP was in power in the state, Sadabhau Khot was also a part of Devendra Fadnavis’s cabinet. Also, Khot’s Rayat Kranti Sanghatana had supported BJP in the 2019 assembly elections.
