As soon as Aryan Khan got the clean chit, Sameer Wankhede said ‘sorry’!

Mumbai: Aryan Khan has been given a clean chit in a drug case on Cordelia Cruise. The chargesheet was filed by the NCB in the Sessions Court on Friday. Aryan Khan has not been charged in the 6,000-page chargesheet. The reaction of the then divisional director of NCB, Sameer Wankhede, has come to light.

The Cordilia Cruise was raided on October 2, 2021 by the then NCB Divisional Director Sameer Wankhede. Some were taken into custody at the time. It also included Aryan Khan. Leaders of the Mahavikas Aghadi had alleged that Aryan Khan was deliberately implicated in the case. Also, NCP leader Nawab Malik had leveled serious allegations against Sameer Wankhede.

Sameer Wankhede’s first reaction came after Aryan Khan got a clean chit. He had given an interview to a news channel. When Sameer Wankhede was asked about Aryan Khan, he initially said sorry, sorry. I do not want to comment on this. I am no longer in the NCB. You talk to NCB officials, said Sameer Wankhede.

Meanwhile, NCP leader Nawab Malik had leveled serious allegations against Sameer Wankhede. He also claimed that Aryan Khan had been falsely accused. Following the riots, the NCB had appointed a SIT to probe the matter. This committee also gave a clean chit to Aryan Khan. After that, Sameer Wankhede was removed from the post of Divisional Director of NCB.
