Shiv Sena MLA Shahaji Bapu Patil from Sangola in Solapur district has given an explanation as to why he went to Guwahati. He said, “My Sangola constituency development fund was deliberately blocked by Congress-NCP ministers. We are opposed to the Mahavikas Aghadi. We have voluntarily come to Guwahati with Eknathji Shinde, who sincerely carries forward the idea of Hindutva of Shiv Sena chief Venerable Balasaheb Thackeray. Explaining that he is not in touch with any leader or party office bearer except Eknath Shinde, Shahaji Bapu Patil has also requested the people and general Shiv Sainiks not to fall prey to any misconceptions being spread in this regard.
