A shocking case of attempted kidnapping of a schoolgirl has taken place in Sangrampur taluka of the district.
A woman and two men from a four-wheeler were trying to abduct the child by dragging her home from school. At this time, the little girl bit the hand of the woman who was dragging her in the car and saved herself. Due to her foresight, further disaster was averted and her abduction attempt failed.
The girl’s grandfather has lodged a complaint with the Tamgaon police about the entire incident. Based on this complaint, the Tamgaon police have registered a case against an unidentified woman and two men who tried to kidnap her.
