Aurangabad police had issued notices for a total of 16 rules for Raj Thackeray’s rally. “I do not know whether the terms given to Raj Thackeray at the meeting were violated or not. The next decision will be taken after studying his speech,” Police Commissioner Nikhil Gupta said in an interview to a news channel. Gupta praised the police for holding Raj Thackeray’s meeting peacefully.

Police planning for Raj Thackeray’s meeting had started in the last few days. The police had thought about the route of the activists coming for the meeting. The police had already decided the manner in which the activists would sit in the meeting. Similarly, arrangements were also made as to where to arrange parking for the vehicles of the workers who came for the meeting, as well as the route from the parking lot to the meeting place.

Similarly, CCTV cameras were installed at various places to monitor the entire meeting. During the meeting, if there was any movement or disturbance among the activists, the police were being instructed to monitor the situation through CCTV and handle the situation, said Commissioner Gupta.
