In Municipal School No. 90-91 only etc. Education is available till 8th standard. So etc. 9th and 10th class students had to go to an outside school for education. As a result, parents suffered financially. Therefore, parents had demanded that 9th and 10th classes should be started in these schools.
Students were welcomed at the start of the new academic year. The then corporator Sadhana Malekar, sanctioned corporator Santosh More, Ankush Malekar and the headmaster and teachers were present.
In this regard, former BJP corporator Kundan Gaikwad took the initiative and held a meeting of officials from the municipal education department. The administration also responded positively. Therefore, students for 9th and 10th will no longer need to try to get admission in other schools. Students can study up to 10th standard in this school.
Regarding this, former corporator Kundan Gaikwad said that in the Municipal School etc. It was demanded that new classes of 9th and 10th classes should be started. Also, attention was drawn to the inconvenience and financial loss to parents and students. Assistant Commissioner Sandeep Khot took a positive decision and took action.
