Citizens Advice: Create awareness about cloth bags during Ganeshotsav

In the public meeting held today, the citizens put forward suggestions that the national flag hoisted under the house-to-house tricolor initiative should be respectfully taken down and kept at the right place, and the citizens should be urged to use cloth bags by putting up boards giving awareness about plastic freedom and use of cloth bags at the public Ganesha Mandal.
On behalf of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, public meetings are organized to reflect the hopes and aspirations of the citizens in the goals and policies of the Corporation, in various decisions, and to maintain harmony between the citizens and the administration of the city and to redress grievances quickly. Public consultation meetings were held today in all eight zonal offices of the Municipal Corporation. 68 citizens took part in the public dialogue meeting held today on behalf of the Municipal Corporation and presented suggestions instead of complaints. In this, 11, 6, 7, 6, 9, 4, 14 and 11 citizens attended and expressed their opinion in A, B, C, D, E, F, C and H regional offices respectively.

Citizens presented various complaints and suggestions in the public meeting held today. The number of hawkers has increased in the city, the new hawkers should be surveyed and licensed, the growth of trees has been stunted due to protective nets placed on trees at various places in the city, such nets should be removed immediately, the encroachments in the crematorium at Pimpri should be removed immediately, the incomplete work of water channels should be completed. Also, broken water pipes should be repaired, bell carts should be sent to collect garbage, action should be taken against citizens who throw garbage in the open, encroachments have been removed from various places in the city, care should be taken to ensure that encroachment does not happen again, potholes should be filled immediately, street lights should be installed along the roads, Citizens raised suggestions and complaints in the public meeting held today that due to the construction in the private land, the road is obstructed due to the road being obstructed, the concerned property owner should be fined, public toilets should be set up at necessary places in the city, and the paving blocks left in the middle of the road and on the footpath should be installed immediately.
