The first post-independence meeting; MLA Rohit Pawar gave a ‘yes’ warning

Ahmednagar: After the independence of the state, the conflict between MLA Rohit Pawar and former minister Ram Shinde in the Karjat Jamkhed constituency will now intensify. A testimonial distribution program was organized for 18,000 beneficiaries in the constituency under the Food Security Scheme at Karjat today. Speaking on the occasion, Pawar has warned Shinde. (rohit pawar has warned that the activists will not remain silent if anyone comes in the way of development) Pawar said that the development fund of Karjat Jamkhed will not be reduced under any circumstances. However, if anyone comes in the way of this development, Rohit Pawar, an activist of the general public, will not remain silent.

Cheap foodgrains are distributed by the government under the Department of Food and Civil Supplies to the economically weaker sections. But in the last few years, even though many citizens of Karjat and Jamkhed constituencies were eligible, they were not getting foodgrains due to various reasons. After that I paid special attention to this and held online and offline meetings with the Prantadhikari, Tehsildar of both the talukas, Group Development Officer and all their revenue and rural development machinery as well as Sarpanch, party office bearers, activists, cheap grain shopkeepers and supply officers. Subsequently, a special campaign was launched for the selection of beneficiaries under the National Food Security Act-2003. After that, a total of 18 thousand 875 eligible needy beneficiaries from both the talukas are being distributed separate ration cards at Karjat and Jamkhed.

  • Prevented officers from attending the event

Saying this, Pawar said that while there was a program in his interest for the common and poor people here today, he also accused former minister Ram Shinde of preventing him from coming to the program as he is now in power in the state.

He also hinted that if anyone interferes with the development work I am doing, I will be able to respond to them. “I am confident that even if there is any government in the state, I will personally go to the concerned ministers and request them to provide funds for the fixed Karjat Jamkhed,” Pawar said. Pawar also challenged Ram Shinde that he had brought more funds in the constituencies than the former minister could not bring in five years when there was a Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state and he was ready to have an open discussion in front of all the people.
