Puducherry CM Narayanasamy celebrates Soniya Gandhi’s Birthday, gifting onions to women against increasing prices

Puducherry: Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy marked the occasion of Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi’s birthday on Monday by gifting onions to women. He distributed onions to protest against the skyrocketing prices of the kitchen staple.

As a part of Sonia Gandhi’s birthday celebrations at Congress headquarters in Puducherry, party chief Namashivayam presented CM Narayanasamy with onions. And in order to show his dissent over the increasing prices of onions in the country. The Chief Minister gifted onions to all the Mahila Congress members present at the office.
