PCCoE Dominates at the Electric Solar Vehicle Championship!

World of Education: Secures First Rank at National Level

Pimpri- Chinchwad : Team Solarium from Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCoE) clinched the first rank in the prestigious Electric Solar Vehicle Championship (ESVC) 3000, a national-level competition held in Greater Noida between March and April 2025.

Established in 2016, Team Solarium is PCCoE’s official solar-electric vehicle team. With the vision of bringing innovation to sustainable transportation technology, the team has steadily risen to national prominence. Their remarkable achievement is a result of consistent hard work, technical expertise, and an eco-friendly approach.

Competing against top engineering colleges from across the country, Team Solarium earned multiple prestigious accolades in the competition, including:

  • People’s Choice Award

  • Best Innovation Award

  • Lightest Vehicle Award

  • Best Endurance Award

  • Best Electrical System Award

This national victory not only reinforces PCCoE’s growing reputation but also showcases the institute’s leadership in sustainable transportation and innovation, as noted by the Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust (PCET) governing body.

Chairman Dnyaneshwar Landge, Vice-Chairperson Padmatai Bhosale, Secretary Vitthal Kalbhor, Treasurer Shantaram Garade, Trustee & PCU Chancellor Harshavardhan Patil, Industrialists Narendra Landge and Ajinkya Kalbhor, and Executive Director Dr. Girish Desai extended their heartfelt congratulations to the winning team.

The team’s success was made possible through the constant guidance and support of PCCoE Director Dr. Govind Kulkarni, Deputy Director Dr. Nilkanth Chopade, Dean Dr. Padmakar Deshmukh, Faculty Advisor Dr. Jaya Goyal, along with all faculty members and staff of the institute.
