Dosti Foundation is a ray of hope for the deprived and neglected: Padma Shri Girish Prabhune

Pimpri: Whose life is dark. There is no need for the sun to be a ray of hope in their lives to end depression, sadness, darkness and despair. So a firefly, even a fall is enough to show them the path of hope, inspiration, joy, positivity and confidence in life. Similarly, the establishment of Dosti Foundation for the purpose of helping the underprivileged and the underprivileged in the current difficult life journey is a ray of hope for social transformation, stated senior social activist Padma Shri Girish Prabhune.

The Dosti Foundation was established with the motto of ‘One Step Social Welfare’ by select friends from Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad. The foundation was inaugurated by Prabhune.

The inaugural function was held at Santnagar, Moshi Pradhikaran. Ganesh Shinde, Habhab Sakharchand Maharaj Lokhande, former corporator Vikram Lande, senior journalist Atul Singh Pardeshi, Sangeeta Tarde, Dosti Foundation president Bharat Bhujbal, working president Sanjay Satav, vice president Vasantrao Tillekar, secretary Sanjay Bhosale, coordinator Sandeep Belsare, treasurer Mahesh Londhe were present.

At this time, Prabhune said that the work of this Dosti Foundation, which has taken the fat of selfless social service from the character of Saint Mahatma, should be as pure and flowing as the river in the future. Prabhune also expressed the expectation that those who have the ability to give should come together and come forward in social work like Dosti Foundation.

Pvt. Ganesh Shinde said that there is no happiness in tools but in service. If there was happiness in the means, then all the rich people would be happy, satisfied. Happiness, satisfaction, happiness is not found in any market, but happiness and peace are found only in selfless service.

While congratulating, Santoshanand Shastri said that the determination behind the establishment of Dosti Foundation is true. So this organization will grow like a banyan tree in the future. The satisfaction they get from the social work done by the members of this organization without expectation will be like ecstasy.

In his introductory remarks, Lakhichand Kataria, Director of the organization, said that the Dosti Foundation has been set up with the motto of “One Step for Social Welfare”. Soldiers fighting on the border, law and order in urban and rural areas should remain unaffected. To this end, the 24-hour police, the doctors, the nurses, the paramedical staff, the social workers in the orphanage and the old age home, the staff in the emergency services, all come together with one thought to partially get out of debt. The Dosti Foundation has been set up by selected youth. In the future, this organization has a man to implement various projects in the social sector from its own funds.
