BJP’s game is a headache for Shiv Sena, if a third candidate for Rajya Sabha is seen

Mumbai: It is learned that after Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati withdrew from the Rajya Sabha elections, now BJP has started preparations for the third Rajya Sabha seat. Although a final decision has not yet been made, it was announced by the party on Saturday. Shiv Sena’s headaches are likely to increase due to this game of BJP. On the other hand, it will be interesting to see who the BJP chooses for the third seat.

BJP state president Chandrakant Patil said, “The party has not yet decided on the third candidate for the Rajya Sabha elections. BJP is not fighting to lose any election. We will think about it whenever we can. We currently have 31 votes. With the demise of Ramesh Latke, the quota will come down to 41. Even in that situation, we are short of 10 votes. Our candidate can be elected without horse-trading. ‘ ‘Devendra Fadnavis has done many great things in five years. So we can easily get ten votes. But we have not yet decided whether to contest for the third seat with these 31 votes and the other 10 votes. The decision in this regard is taken by the central leadership ‘, said Chandrakant Patil.

Meanwhile, the last date for filing nominations for this election is May 31. So a decision will be made soon. If the Center gives permission for this, then we will definitely win this seat, said Patil. Meanwhile, Union Minister Piyush Goyal’s name is being considered for the first of the two seats, while the BJP is discussing the names of Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Ram Shinde and Anil Bonde for the second seat.
