Gajanan Maharaj’s palanquin leaves Shegaon tomorrow for Pandharpur; Stay in Akola on 8th and 9th June
Akola : Akolekar will get Darshan of ‘Shree’s’ Palkhi which has been closed for last 2 years due to Corona. Preparations will be made at various places in Akola for the reception of this Mauli palanquin. Ongoing road construction in the city has led to changes in the palanquin route this year. The route was announced by the administration on Sunday afternoon. In the meantime, traffic on this route has been diverted.
Palkhi departure from Shegaon on 6th June
The palanquin will leave the temple of Shri Sant Gajanan Maharanja at Shegaon on June 6 at 7 am. After that he will arrive at ‘Shri Kshetra Nagzari’ in the afternoon and stay at Paras. The next day, on 7th June, he will arrive at Gaigaon in Akola and stay at Bhaurad. Arrive at Akola on 8th June and stay at the premises of Mungilal Bajoria Vidyalaya and on 9th June at Zilla Parishad School premises in Old City. After arriving at Bharatpur on 10th June and staying at Wadegaon, after staying in various cities, the palanquin will reach Pandharpur on 8th July.

On 8th June Khandelwal Vidyalaya, Godbole Plot, Gajanan Chowk, Srivastava Chowk, Vitthal Mandir, Kala Maroti, Lokhandi Pool, Mothe Ram Mandir, Mangaldar Market in front of Sawtaram Mill, Akola Stand, Santoshi Mata Mandir, Damle Chowk, Old Washim Stand, Chandekar Chowk , Will stay at Mungilal Bajoria Vidyalaya in front of Kalanka Mata Mandir, Swavalambi Vidyalaya.

Palkhi will leave in front of Mungilal Bajoria Vidyalaya at Post Office, Dhingra Chowk, Tower Chowk, Ratanlal Plot Chowk, Nehru Park Chowk, Hutatma Chowk, Incometax Chowk, Hindu Gyanvith Vidyalaya, Adarsh Colony, Bobade Dudh Dairy, Sindhi Camp, Jail Chowk, Ashok Vatika, Palkhi procession will be taken to Government Garden, City Kotwali Chowk, Jayhind Chowk, Harihar Peth, Shivaji House High School.
