Pimpri: A case has been registered under the Prevention of Atrocities (Atrocities) Act against the brother of NCP MLA Sunil Shelke of Maval Legislative Assembly in the case of using caste-derogatory words. The name of MLA’s brother is Sudhakar Shelke and a case has also been registered against Monty Dabhade. Praveen Siddharth Oval has filed a complaint at Talegaon Police Station.
According to the police, the complainant Praveen Oval was going to Talegaon police station to meet Kishore Aware. As there was a crowd, they stopped on the road in front of the police station. Meanwhile, MLA brothers Sudhakar Shelke and Monty Dabhade were passing by that place. Then he looked at Oval and used racial words. Oval has also said in the complaint that he threatened you to go home from here.
Meanwhile, Oval tried to register a case on the same day. But as the cars of the MLA brothers were there, they did not file a complaint on the same day due to fear. A complaint has been registered in this regard yesterday Thursday, the said incident took place last Saturday. Now the Talegaon police are investigating the incident further.
