Parbhani : At present, the state is experiencing severe heat wave, so many people are falling prey to heatstroke. Similarly, an elderly farmer died of heatstroke when he suddenly fell down while working in a field. The incident took place at Bhaucha Tanda in Sonpeth taluka of Parbhani. Datta Jadhav is the name of the deceased farmer. The temperature has risen in Parbhani district for the last few days. Due to its high intensity, it is affecting the elderly including young children.
Similarly, Datta Jadhav (82) of Bhaucha Tanda in Sonpeth taluka got dizzy while working in the field. As a result, farmer Datta Jadhav collapsed and his relatives rushed him to the government hospital in Ambajogai on Saturday. However, farmer Datta Jadhav died of heatstroke during treatment at around 4 am on Sunday. Meanwhile, this is the second death due to heatstroke in Parbhani district. Earlier, the health department had reported that one person had died due to heatstroke. As the intensity of summer is increasing day by day in the district, the health department has asked the citizens to avoid going out of their houses at noon without any reason.
