Vedanta Foxconn’s semiconductor project moved from Maharashtra to Gujarat, which has heated up the politics in the state. Opposition Shiv Sena, NCP, Congress are criticizing the ruling Shinde Fadnavis government over this. Meanwhile, BJP leader Ashish Shelar has responded to these criticisms by holding a press conference. It has also criticized the Shiv Sena and Aditya Thackeray, and the entire Maha Vikas Aghadi government. Saying that the Foxconn project moved from Maharashtra to Gujarat due to the ‘cut commission’, Shelar cast doubt on the Mahavikas Aghadi government.

Even though the Vedanta-Foxconn project has not received any permission or consent letter, the Penguin Sena chief himself might be saying that if we brought this project, why did the actual work not get done? It means that after all the discussions of the project in the actual activities in this interval something happened during the Maha Vikas Aghadi government which led to the mover of the project to Gujarat. Regarding the project, what happened in the Mahavikas Aghadi government in the middle period… Negotiations, stockpiling, conspiracy commissions, demands were made, what exactly happened. Saying this, Shelar has accused the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of being responsible for the project going to Gujarat.

This project, which was given first place to Maharashtra, had to go to another state after all the discussions. Due to this, there is a lot of doubt in the mind, because the then Industries Minister Subhash Desai made a controversial statement at that time that what is the use of this project for Maharashtra. So the doubt is gaining strength. Were there any negotiations before the actual laying of a different pressure technique somewhere?
