Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals clashed in today’s 45th match of Tata IPL 2022 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Ground, in which Lucknow skipper KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bat first.
Decock and Rahul opened the innings with 42 off 26 balls. Decock was playing hard as usual but Shardul Thakur dismissed him in his first over to break the tie. Decock scored 23 off 13 balls, followed by Deepak Hooda, who started batting from the first ball.
Rahul, on the other hand, was batting too. Meanwhile, the duo also completed their respective individual half-centuries.
While the pair was adding to Pant’s headache, Thakur, who had a midas touch, broke the tie by catching Deepak Hooda on his own bowling, but even after he was dismissed, Rahul batted aggressively and helped the team reach a good score.
Rahul was also dismissed by Thakur, who hit 77 off just 51 balls with five sixes and four fours.
