NCP’s Bhupendra More fasts till death for civic issues in Narhe

  • On the second day of the fast, no action was taken by the administration: Increasing support from the society holders

Pune | Representative: The villages of Narhe and Ambegaon are included in the municipal limits. However, while the locals are still struggling for basic civic amenities, the municipal administration is still not ready to let go of its depression and has started a hunger strike for the death of NCP general secretary Bhupendra More. On the second day of the fast, no action was taken by the administration.

Tankers should be provided immediately to supply free water in areas where there is no drinking water and sewerage system as per the constitution of the corporation and the order of the Mumbai High Court. At present there is no efficient water supply system of the municipality in Narhe area, so 300 tankers of water are being demanded from the citizens every day. Therefore, the main demand is that the municipality should immediately arrange about 300 tankers free of cost.

Garbage problem is big in Narhe, Ambegaon area and garbage is often lying on the road. When there was a Gram Panchayat, a private waste picking contractor used to collect garbage at Rs.

Roads in the area are also in poor condition and urgent measures should be taken to address the problem of roads, especially for societies like Kumar Omkar and Prajwal. It is also expected to come up with a suitable solution by discussing the oppressive conditions imposed by the administration by giving relief in fines in the case of Gunthewari. The cleaning of the nallas is in a partial state, so mosquitoes breed in large numbers in the area, which can lead to serious diseases like malaria, so all the nallas should be cleaned immediately.

Until basic civic amenities are available in the included villages, the corporation should collect tax at the rate of 20% of the government. “Even though no facilities are available in the area, it is difficult to collect taxes in this way,” he said. In many places, streetlights are not available or in a closed position, all of them should be started immediately, so that many accidents can be avoided. As the problem of stray dogs is also on the rise, measures should be taken on behalf of the municipality. The basic facilities of the rights of all the above citizens should be solved by the municipality immediately. Bhupendra More informed that the fast till death will continue till the issues are resolved.
