Namaz will be recited on the road even after Raj Thackeray’s warning, order to divert traffic from police

City |

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) president Raj Thackeray has demanded that azan bells on mosques and street prayers be stopped. In any case, on the occasion of Ramadan Eid in the city, as usual, community prayers will be offered at Eidgah Maidan in Kothala and on the adjoining Nagar-Aurangabad highway. For this, the police has also issued an order to divert the traffic.

Tomorrow is Ramzan Eid celebration (Ramzan Eid 2022). On this day, community prayers are recited in the morning. For this, Muslim brothers come together at Eidgah Maidan in Kothala. Other religious citizens are also present to wish them well. Due to insufficient space on the ground, adjacent highways are also used. For this, the traffic on this highway is temporarily diverted to another route. This year too, Superintendent of Police Manoj Patil has issued this order. On the morning of Eid, traffic is being diverted at Eidgah Maidan and Highway Road in Kothala to avoid any hindrance to the prayers of the Muslims, to prevent any disturbance to the noise of vehicles and to prevent any obstruction to the traffic.

Traffic coming from Aurangabad and Manmad has been diverted from Superintendent of Police Chowk to Chandni Chowk via Bhiganar. Vehicles coming from Pune, Solapur have been diverted to SP Office Chowk via Chandni Chowk, Beleshwar Chowk, Killa Chowk. All heavy vehicles are diverted by bypass road. The order will be in force from 7 am to 12 noon on Tuesday, Patil said. A large contingent has been deployed at Eidgah ground at this time. Namaz will be recited in all the places in the district including Nagar Shahar every year at the designated place. For the first time since the relaxation of the Corona rule, community prayers are being offered on Ramadan Eid. Raj Thackeray’s role shows that the police are more vigilant than ever to maintain law and order.
