Aditya Thackeray’s ‘she’ is an action of MLAs; Spark of Shiv Sena rebellion in Raigad

Raigad: Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde’s mutiny has given impetus to the situation in the state. Shiv Sena leaders have proposed to the Shiv Sena party leadership to form a new government by leaving the Mahavikas alliance and forming an alliance with the BJP. Shiv Sena leaders have called for a revolt, alleging that the NCP is strangling them. However, there is talk that the spark of this revolt fell in Raigad a few months ago. Shiv Sena MLAs were upset as Aditya Thackeray hosted a banquet for NCP leader Tatkare’s family and the relationship between the MLA and Aditya was strained.

Shortly after the formation of the Mahavikas Aghadi government, grievances in the government began to surface. Raigad District Guardian Minister Aditi Tatkare and MP Sunil Tatkare were alleging that Shiv Sena MLAs were being harassed. MLA Bharat Gogavale had also lodged a complaint directly with Shiv Sena chief and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. Thackeray discussed the issue with Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar. However, that effort also failed.

Complaints of Shiv Sena MLAs were increasing but the MLAs were angry that the party leadership was not taking notice. MLAs do not get funds for development works. The Guardian Minister also takes the credit of the MLAs. The MLAs were complaining that the Guardian Minister of Raigad was treating them badly. Three MLAs from Raigad, Bharat Gogavale, Mahendra Thorve and Mahendra Dalvi, had reached Matoshri’s door with these complaints. However, it is being said that the party leadership has not taken note of these allegations. While the MLAs were worried about the NCP, an act of Tourism Minister Aditya Thackeray increased the dissatisfaction in the minds of the MLAs. While Aditya Thackeray was on a tour of Raigad, the MLAs were confident that he would resolve their grievances. However, Aditya Thackeray, in a way, ignored the complaints, saying that this platform is not for complaints. There is a feeling among the MLAs that they have insulted the MLAs of their own party.

Not only that, after the rally in Raigad, Aditya Thackeray was going to Tatkare’s house for a banquet. However, the office bearers had requested him not to go to Tatkare as it could send a wrong message to the workers and the organization. However, Aditya refused the request and went to Tatkare’s Gitabagh residence. Transport Minister Aditya Thackeray was also with him at that time. In the last two months, the MLAs have revolted and challenged the party leadership. All the three MLAs from Raigad have joined Eknath Shinde’s group.
