Sangli:A young man has been stoned to death at Vithurayachiwadi in Kavthemahankal taluka. The deceased has been identified as Bagappa Mahanur (age 21). A rose has been found next to the body after the murder. Kavthemankal police have arrested two suspects in just four hours in this case. (a young man was murdered and a rose was offered to him)
A young man named Bagappa Balasaheb Mahanur (age 21) was brutally murdered at Vithurayachiwadi in Kavthemahankal taluka around noon on Thursday. The brutal murder was carried out by throwing stones at the head and slapping the face. Bagappa Mahanoor was found murdered behind a closed mill on Jat-Kavthemahankal Road.
It has also come to light that a rose was placed near the body after the murder. After the incident, the police rushed to the spot and conducted a panchnama and arrested the suspects in just four hours. The arrested are Robin Khot (21) of Pimpalwadi, Kavthemahankal and Sanjay Gaganmale (33) of Shivajinagar, Kavthemahankal.
The motive for the murder is unclear
The motive for the killings is not yet clear. Kavthemahankal police are investigating further.
