Monsoon rains on Maharashtra, what exactly happened after the roaring entry?

Mumbai: Despite the onset of monsoon all over the state, the rains have now taken a break. The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast torrential rains in most districts of the state from last week to June 15. However, in just two days, the monsoon has taken off.

Due to this monsoon break, farmers have also been advised to stop sowing. In fact, the monsoon is expected to be active in the next 48 hours due to the formation of low pressure area, the meteorological department said. But now the monsoon has low current. So a low pressure area needs to be created in the sea for rain to fall. But since that is not happening, the monsoon has now taken a break.

  • Where did the rain stop?

The monsoon arrived in Kerala on May 29, followed by Tamil Nadu, along with parts of Karnataka and Goa. This time too the monsoon took a break of ten days. The monsoon arrived in Vengurla on Friday after the weather became favorable. In just 24 hours, on Saturday, the monsoon became active in many districts including Mumbai, Thane and Raigad. But on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, the rains disappeared, while in Mumbai, the heat is increasing due to the scorching sun.

Chance of rain in 5 days on west coast

According to the meteorological department, thunderstorms and thunderstorms are expected in some districts of the state in the next five days due to off-shore trough and westerly winds on the west coast.

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast rains in the next five days in Konkan, Goa, Central Maharashtra and Marathwada due to the basin conditions parallel to the coast from Gujarat to Kerala in the Arabian Sea and winds blowing from the west.
