Mangalore celebrates with enthusiasm: Women get excited with traditional games, songs

Pune : The tradition of traditional festivals should be preserved in Dehurod, it should be shared with the new generation, the tradition of Mangagouri should be preserved through games and songs, and the talents of women should be given scope.

The program started with lighting the lamp and worshiping Mangala Gouri. The game was colored by singing popular songs like Latya Bai Latya, Foo Bai Foo, Athood Kel Gathood. While playing Mangagouri games, women were seen singing these songs, spinning soup and dancing with balloons, playing Latna, singing songs one by one, Zimma, raising the spirits of each other by throwing balloons. All the women were dressed in Marathmoli style and loved by all. Nauvari participated in traditional attire wearing sarees, nose rings and traditional ornaments.

In this world, in the fast-paced age, traditions have been lost. As it has become difficult for women to find time for themselves from their daily work, the women of Mandal have kept the tradition of celebrating many small events like Mangalore, Bhondla and feeling their happiness with each other. Also should be able to cultivate one’s interest. This program was well prepared to let everyone know the special importance of Mangalore festival.

Aishwarya Rajendra Taras was the chief guest and Bhakti Jagtap, Archana Ran Singh, Priya Jadhav, Snehal Doke, Neeta Deshmukh, Swati Kadam, Ujjwala Jadhav, Asmita Chavan, Anjali, Ashwini Doke, Sakshi Chaure, Dipti Joshi participated in the event. The audience appreciated the performance. Everyone prayed for prosperity in the home, good health and happy married life and the program concluded with enthusiasm.
