Law Students From Dr.D.Y Patil University’s School of Law, Ambi, Talegaon Visited the District & Session’s Court Family court Pune 

Pune: The visit was permitted by the Registrar of the District & Sessions Court. The day started with a brief note given to the students about the court and court rooms by Advocate Mangesh Kharabe, who is practicing Advocate at District & Sessions Court. He guided all the students & taught Hierarchy of Criminal Court.

The students were divided into groups, explored various courtrooms to witness live proceedings. This immersive exposure allowed them to observe the day-to-day functioning of both Civil and Criminal Courts, gaining valuable insights into the legal processes. Advocate kharabe, in his interactions with the students, emphasized the importance of reading case laws to comprehend the rationale behind decisions. He provided a detailed overview of court proceedings, demystifying legal intricacies for the participants. The visit aimed to enhance legal literacy, and it successfully achieved this by fostering awareness , It also provided exposure to students highlighting the significance of accessible justice and the role of the Magistrate Court & Sessions Court Also the working of Family court .The students were accompanied & Guided By Legal Coordinator of college Adv.Mangesh Kharabe,Principal in-Charge of College Prof.Dr Rohan Das,Asst.Prof. Mayuri Pharande,Prof N.Anjali

For law students, textbooks and seminars provide the core knowledge, but watching court proceedings in person provides a distinct perspective. Students observed how legal principles are implemented, argued, and defended in a courtroom in a real setting. This experience aids in contextualizing abstract notions and theories, bringing them to life. Students can connect the dots between theoretical knowledge and its practical application by attending a trial, hearing, or even a preliminary motion.
