Shravan is… Then, there is no mind to eat meat. So let’s get to the nitty gritty…vegetable toast… and how to make that too at home? Very simply.

Materials: One large onion, one boiled potato, one carrot, half bowl of finely chopped cabbage, half bowl of peas, one tomato, four green chillies, 2/3 ginger-pieces, 4/5 peeled garlic cloves, coriander, butter, bread, oil, salt

Action: Finely chop onion, carrot, tomato. Mash the peas. Mash the potato. Mix garlic, chillies, ginger, salt and remove from the mixer.

Heat oil and mix all the chopped vegetables in it and saute. Add the masala removed from the mixer and stir. Then add potato. Khamang returns. Mix together and keep mixing. Allow to cool. Then remove the edges of the bread slices. Add the above vegetable mixture on one slice. Place another slice on it and press lightly. Add butter to a non-stick pan and fry these slices. Can be given to children’s school bus. Everyone likes it. Eat with chutney, sauce.
