In Mulshi taluka, the entire road was washed away and the crack collapsed; 10 villages lost contact

Pune : Heavy rain has been going on in Mulshi taluka for the past few days. Due to heavy rain, the entire road from Dasve, Adamal to Panshet, Varasgaon in Dasve Padalghar Vasti near Lavasa CT in Mose Valley has been washed away. But there was no loss of life as there was no traffic on this route.

Nearly ten villages have been cut off due to the road being washed away. Last year also the entire road was cracked due to rain. But still the Public Works Department ignored it. However, in this year’s rains, citizens are expressing their anger as the entire road has been washed away. Currently this road is closed for traffic.

If the road had been repaired in time, the road would not have washed away today, such sentiments are now being expressed by the citizens. Citizens are saying that the public works department is responsible for this incident. The construction department did not repair this road despite being told many times. Therefore, citizens say that this incident has happened even today.

Meanwhile, due to this accident, it has become difficult for the residents of the nearby villages to go out for communication.
