In a meeting held during this tour, he had announced that he would form a new political party. So now everyone is curious as to when Azad will announce his new party, today (September 11) while addressing a public meeting in Baramulla, Azad has announced that he will announce his new party in the next ten days. He has said that the name of the party will be given according to the suggestions of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. The name of the new party has not been decided yet. However, he had also said earlier that the people of Kashmir will decide the name and symbol of the party. So, there was talk earlier that he would join the BJP.
Meanwhile, while addressing a public meeting yesterday, Ghulam Nabi Azad targeted the Congress, “They fired missiles at me, I responded with only 303 rifles and destroyed them. If I had used a ballistic missile, then Congress would not have appeared at all. I have been a member of the party (Congress) for 52 years and consider Rajiv Gandhi as my brother and Indira Gandhi as my mother. So I don’t want to use words against them,” he said.
