Maharashtra has seen my struggle during the bad times when Shiv Sena faced difficulties and every Shiv Sainik in Maharashtra is a witness to this.
In the year 2019, when we are forming the government with NCP and Congress, I requested you with folded hands that Shiv Sena chief Hon. Balasaheb Thackeray fought with NCP and Congress throughout his life and preserved Hindutva. Do not form an alliance with NCP and Congress. She had requested us that she would agree with Balasaheb’s thoughts. But I am sad that you did not listen to me even then. Had Shiv Sena been Chief, this time would not have come to me and hence I am resigning from the post of ‘Shiv Sena Leader’ today.
