Pimpri Chinchwad : Often, we apply nail polish to enhance the beauty of our nails, but we forget to take proper care of them. However, if we don’t take proper care of our nails, they may break or turn yellow. Therefore, it’s important to take good care of your nails during the winter.
Manicure is very beneficial to maintain the beauty of your nails. You can do a manicure at home as well. Start by using a scrub to gently exfoliate your hands. Scrub properly until all dead cells and dirt are completely removed. After that, use a nail filer to shape your nails. Remove the skin around the nails using cuticle clippers.
You can even make your own scrub at home by mixing sugar, lemon, a bit of coffee powder, and honey. This will remove dead skin cells from your skin and help brighten it. To give your nails the perfect shape, apply a base coat of nail polish. Apply just one layer of base coat. If you have trouble applying the nail polish neatly, you can apply petroleum jelly around the skin. This will prevent the nail polish from touching the skin around the nails.
Do not apply nail polish on the underside of the nails. To give a finishing touch, apply a transparent nail polish over the nails. This will help the manicure last longer and give a glossy look to the nails.
Nails can also turn yellow due to sun exposure. To prevent this, you can use sunscreen. Apply a base coat before applying nail polish. This will protect your nails from the sun and prevent them from turning yellow. After using soap powder, apply a massage cream to your nails every day. After applying the cream, gently wipe it off with a cotton cloth. Before going to bed, massage your hands with good oil.
To make nails shiny, mix one teaspoon of gelatin in warm water. Once the water cools, add citrus juice and clean your nails with this mixture.
Mix baking soda in water and soak your hands in it for 15 minutes. Afterward, wipe your hands with cotton. To prevent your nails from turning yellow, mix lemon juice in water and soak your hands for 10 minutes. This will help remove yellowing.
